The fire and smoke damage was inside our bedroom drawers and inside bedroom our computers

Most of the drawered clothes survived but the synthetic fabrics did not.  The smoke seemed to fuse with the fiber.

We lost hundreds of collectible original vinyl music albums held from the 1960's through the 1980's.  The albums were destroyed by water damage in extinguishing the fire.  The collection was was worth thousands of dollars.

Luckily, we had spend several years digitizing the album songs and even album covers.  The music itself was saved on backup external computer hard drives

The digitizing equipment seen here, turntable and amplifiers, were damaged by smoke and had to be destroyed
