The dinner follows a Brazilian tradition of having the celebration on Christmas Eve. Typically the celebration is at mid-night when everyone hugs, wishing Merry Xmas and the chow down for dinner.
Heloisa served a wonder plate of fresh fruit as the temperature hovered near 25 degrees outside.
The fresh Strawberries were Driscoll brand. They were the sweetest commercially grown berries that I have ever had. So good, that I remember them over 10 years later as I update this page
I am sure that the rest of the dinner was very good. Heloisa is a terrific cook. But in 2015, I can only remember the straw berries. The ultimate and sweetest strawberries are the wild ones but these Christmas strawberries rival the wild ones
