Venturing out to enjoy the springtime after over 60 days of self isolation

Adding flowers to parents graves for memorial day.  We are wearing shields when we go into crowded public places

It is another late spring.  There was about half an inch of snow on May 10th in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  Temperatures were in the mid-40's until the 15th of May

Our straw bale garden is in it's third year.  The bales have pretty much composted into pure soil, except for the few bales we just added in the previous year.  The garden was extremely easy to prepare and work, we would like to add a second row maybe next year.

The trees are budding, blooming and blossoming at the farm.  The photos of the buds are from the same Maple Tree.  One branch is Red Maple and the other green.  It is easy to say the tree has a split personality
