This best dumplings recipe will please EVERYONE!
You'll need chicken stock. Buy it at the store or make your own. You'll need chicken meat. Roast chicken is the easiest. Easy, heck yes. Buy a roasting chicken. Just stick it in the oven for a couple of hours after stuffing with celery and onions; put carrots and potatoes on the side. Serve it.
Use the left overs to make your own stock by boiling the carcus a couple of hours until the leftover carrots, celery and potatos liquify. Add fresh carrots, celery and potatoes and chicken meat and your ready to go
A single recipe is barely enough to serve two hungry and appreciative souls. It's recommended to triple the recipe to please and maybe have some left over
| Single Batch Dumplings | Triple Batch Dumplings | |
| Whole Eggs | 2 eggs | 6 eggs |
| Baking Powder | 1 teaspoon | 3 teaspons |
| Milk | 1 tablespoon | 3 tablespoons |
| Salt | 1 teaspoon | 3/4 teaspons |
| Flower | 1 cup | 3 cups |
Mix it all together in a bowl, roll it into gulf size balls and drop each one in the GENTLY boiling stock. Reduce the heat and cook. You'll get the best firm dumplings if you cover the pot for about 5 minutes as the dumplings rise and the boiling dimishes
Poke the dumplings with a fork a few minutes into the cooking. If they are firm, they are done. Don't overcook
