Too Old Turkey
The Turkey was bought in 2021, during the Covid pandemic, at 83ยข a pound at Walmart. Helton subsequently traveled to Brazil and other family members had Thanksgiving with their own food. The bird languished in the freezer for two years. Helton wanted to throw it out in 2023 because it was kept so long. Dennis said lets give it a try so we fixed in after the family thanksgiving at Sherri's, before Helton went to Brazil for the 2023 season and before the 2023 Christmas Holidays.
The Turkey was astoundingly tasty - there was no deterioration in texture or taste. It was a good as a new bought fresh turkey, frozen or never frozen
