The policeman, Pinky Englesby driving on Lincoln Street.  Pinky was the ONE cop in Augusta Wisconsin during the 60's and 70's. 

Pinky patrols the streets so friends and family are safe.

Pinky was a boisterous and large man but he was mostly respected by Augusta.

The Augusta Wisconsin population in the 70's was about 1,200.  One policeman for per 1200 persons

The "law and order" days of the 1980's and 1990's (and the lobbying of the law enforcement industry) changed that to 4 policemen through the year 2015.  The Augusta population in 2015 was about 1,500.  That's one cop for each 375 people.
