It was nice to see these friends
Ruth, Connie, Janet and Gloria. I returned to Wisconsin to work a convention, get my car and say goodbye again.
Nino's Restaurant had always been a popular place with our friends in Milwaukee. I had some of my Woolworth store parties there. We frequently dined there for special event. Steaks and seafood were on the menu and it was always a treat. There were several Nino's in Milwaukee - this one was directly across from the Veteran's Hospital and near County Stadium. This one was our favorite because it was less crowded and quiet
This was my final goodbye to Connie. I would never see her again. She moved back to Osseo Wisconsin and passed away at a young age of multiple sclerosis (maybe twenty years later)
