Everyone is on the streets for Carnival. 1993
The national liquor in Brazil is Cachaca. It's made locally, frequently home brewed. In 1993 is was cheaper than spit - literally. Order a liter of beer, it was about $1. Ask for a Cachaca chaser with the beer - it was the same price - $1. Dennis and Chester loved it and drank a lot. Ruby wasn't too happy about it
