Janine, a native Brazilian, came to New York city in 1967 from Sao Paulo Brazil.  Mucio, our dear friend and Janine's too, persuaded Janine to live a better retirement by moving back to Brasil.  Muscio helped Janine find an apartment in Belo Horizonte in 2003.  The US dollar was strong at that time, the new apt., in a prime and expensive location cost just US$ 20,000.

Janine still visits us in New York every year or two and be get to visit her in Belo Horizonte too.  It is not enough, we still miss her

We invited just 5 guests.  Others showed up and we welcomed all to say good-bye to Janine.
