Looking East to Queens from The Top of the Rock Observation Deck in NYC

The slanted roof building was built using 'air rights' zoning from the church at the street level

Ironically, the slanted roof building was known as Citicorp Center and the building in Queens at the center of the picture was known as the Citigroup Building.

Looking East to Queens

The Queens building is the tallest in New York City outside of Manhattan. 

 The Queens location was originally built to make it easy for Citi Bank corporation employees to get between offices.  The two buildings are just two subway stops away with the subway stations near their feet
