People watching people watching us.  We love Central Park

We walked from 58th Street and Fifth Avenue to 77th and Columbus.  Past the Central park ball fiends, lawns, boat pond and Sun bathers. The hike is 2 miles

Guacamole is a well known appetizer at Cafe Frida, it is made with fresh avocados and  served in a molcajete, aka a volcanic stone mortar, with corn chips.

We highly recommend Cafe Frida.  Food prices are moderate by NYC standards but the drinks are very expensive.  Our favorite, the Hibiscus Margarita, costs $14 to $16, it ends up being over $20 with the added tax and tip.  We find it worth the price (but worth it for just one)
