Thacila gives us a ride to the Belo Horizonte Airport for our flight back to the USA

The air port is about 30 miles from Belo Horizonte, Brazil. the ride took about 40 minutes

The Trip to the Airport an End of an adventure

Our long 10 day trip to remember

We returned exhausted, sated (our expectations exceeded) and happy. Gary Sherri and Dennis went back on this day. Helton stayed a few days longer

The airport was built in the 1980s or 90's. Very far from any rual population at the time and inconvenient to the city. The land was purchased from a rich landowner, naturally, a sign of Brailian Corruption.

Coda;

We also visited in 2015 - an additional terminal was added to accomodate the World Cup travel in 2014. There was only one game in Belo Horizonte - the new terminal was never opened or even finished - more Brazilian Corruption
