Viva Brazilian futbol

We celebrated the event in front of the stadium and later at "Dudu's Bar" near Vicentina's home. There was no alcohol allowed in the stadium but there was plenty of it outside. Soccer games around the World often see violence from the fans.

The Brazilian referees were escorted onto and off the field by armed security guards

We bought a large Galo flag for about 12 US dollars from vendors that seemed to be everywhere. Sherri and Gary hang it in their garage in Durand Wisconsin.

The game was played at Indenpendencia Arena in Belo Horizonte. The Estadio Atletico Minas Gerais. Galo beat Sao Paulo by 2 to 0. The team is known as CAM, Clube Atlético Mineiro

We celebrated after the game at Dudu's Bar at the top of the hill

Vicentina's home, on Rua Araxá,was about 2 blocks from a small postage stamp of a park at Preaça Alberto Monzoni. The park had a vending cart selling beer and soda open late in the night. We continued Galo's victory celebration with Dudu and friends.
