Backstory:

Mucio, aka Jose da Silva or Muscio, is a long time friend of Helton and Dennis and is from Brazil.  Mucio was visiting Helton and Dennis in New York, November 2001.  Airfares were inexpensive after the tragedy of 9/11 so off to Las Vegas Nevada and Arizona went the three friends.  Mucio paid for Helton's trip too - the air fare was just $138 round trip from New York. 

The airfare was about $50 less to fly into Phoenix.  The savings for 3 was enough to pay for the trip's car rental and gas.  No time was spend in Phoenix, on landing, the car full of friends headed immediately to Las Vegas

The pictures in this episode are taken on the desert between Phoenix and Las Vegas.  Stops were made only for rest stops

The world was full of jitters after the Terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.  There was a plane crash upon its leaving JFK on the day the 3 friends were returned to New York.  The return flight was delayed a few hours and the friends were nervous on the way back to new york
