Giving Thanks during a year of tragedy
The year of the World Trade Center devastation
We have special reason to give thanks. Our prayers were with the fallen and their families. Our thanks was for America and what we have survived. The date of the holiday reminds us too of another tragedy, the assassination of president John F Kennedy
Helton and Dennis were the Thanksgiving dinner hosts. Our guests include Olga, Helenice, Heloisa, Ricardo, and Raphael
Helton, Helenice, Heloisa and Silesia would go out into Jackson Heights on the following day. It was Helenice's first visit to New York and the family wanted to show her around the neighborhood
