Too Cool
Phoenix in December 2001 was Cool. It was in the mid to upper thirties at night and just in the upper 60's during the day. We stayed at an Embassy Suites Hotel with a great pool but it was too cool to swim
Friends paid for the trip and Dennis was thankful to have those kinds of friends

We ate at the main Grand Canyon Lodge
It is almost impossible to get seating at the lodge during peak tourist season, but in December, on the Birthday, we got a table to enjoy the beauty of this natural wonder
