Friday night enjoyment with friends
The bar was a favorite. It was a Friday night routine to get a bunch of friends together and head for Johns Street pub. It was an Irish Pub in the old New York Style. The majority of the bartenders and the service staff were of Irish descent, including the charming accent.
The beer was cheap and the buffalo wings were terrific. A great time was always had by all. We went back again and again.
This page is updated in 2016 and alas, although the pub is still open it has went upscale. There are few Irish bartenders and the prices reflect the high cost of the financial district
