September weather in Wisconsin can be fickle but August can be even more so
September seems to more predictable, warm at the beginning and fall like at the end. August can be colder than one expects. It is not unknown that Augusta has biting winds out of the north and sometimes late August Frosts
September somehow seems to be less angry. Early month warmth is common, late month fall weather arriving is predictable (almost)
