July 4th Weekend in Wisconsin in the Year 2000. Hot to almost Frigid near Lake Superior

We Visited Bayfield, Ashland and Madeline Island and Augusta Wisconsin

When you go on a hot summer day, be sure you bring a sweatshirt if you visit Lake Superior

The Temperature in Durand Wisconsin was 90 degrees and it was 50 in Bayfield.  We left Durand on a whim for something to do and arrived at Lake Superior.

We ended up staying at a hotel in Ashland because our day trip extended late.  The Amish from around Durand took care of the dairy cows on Sherri and Gary's dairy for the night.  Helton and Dennis were visiting from New York.  Dennis is a native Wisconsinite and Helton is originally from Oliviera Brazil

We started our trip to Lake Superior on July 2 and returned to the dairy farm on July 3rd.  Dennis and Helton were in Wisconsin for only 5 days so we took time to visit Dad in Augusta Too
