Independence day weekend in Wisconsin 2000
Madeline Island is lush and green in the summertime.
It's temperate rain forest of sorts. Cool mists off Lake Superior are common. Helton enjoys some of the lushness out of the chilling wind. The winter winds are cold and cruel on the Apostle Islands
