Dinner at Smiths Bar and Restaurant at 44th Street and 8th Avenue

We've been at this New York institution many times.  The service is always good even though the food varies from ok to very good.

On the Town, the Broadway Musical 

On the Town Broadway Musical Theatre at the Lyric Theater on 42nd Street.  Also known at the New Victory Theatre.  We took the time to ask for autographs at the stage door after the performance.  Thank you to these performers for pleasantly cooperating

The producers announced on the date of our attendence, August 6th, coincidently, that On The Town will close in September of 2015.  It is a shame

Dennis, the host of the tour and this site, has seen many many musicals over the last 30 years.  Dennis considers On the Town one of the most entertaining of them all.  The Leonard Bernstein score for this musical can entertain you for your entire life "New York, New York, its a wonderful town, The Bronx is up and the Battery Down".  The cast seemed to enjoy themselves too
