Our trip to the Great Southwest was nearing an end
We had been wondering around the great Arizona deserts absolutely adoring the magnificant scenery for 10 days. But we had been seeing too much. The sites and locations were beginning to blur.
Our trip to the Miami / Globe area was too rushed to enjoy it fully because it was last day moving about Arizona Highways. Miami / Globe are mining areas at higher elevations and we loved it. Our take on the small towns was our most memorable impressions - the two town have been ripped by the changes of small towns being raided by Walmart. The small businesses were muchly empty with the Walmart being just a few blocks away from downtown. The newly emptied businesses gave the town a sad feeling
We were on our way back to Phoenix and we loved the countryside and rocks and valleys and mountains. Sadly too, we had seen to much of it
