We took some time to visit down town Eau Claire. And stopped at the Confluence Center
The old rail bridge has been converted to a pedestrian bridge over the Chippewa River

The bridge is near the confluence of the Eau Claire River and the Chippewa River
The rivers were high from recent record rainfalls
We stopped at a bar near the bridge and had some Leinenkugal Oktoberfest seasonal brew. Helton didn't drink a thing. We were impressed with the food too
